This year there was another dimension to Christmas gifts.

Given the work we’ve been doing on developing Artisanry Co. We’ve been much more conscious, not just of what we bought for others but also what we have been lucky enough to receive.

This wasn’t a scientific experiment by the way, but I reckon that around 75% of the gifts I received were either handmade (including an array of handmade goodies from my eldest daughter Idhika) or bought from local markets, handmade by artisans, crafters or artists.

Am I just the lucky one? How does this compare with the gifts you received this year? What about the gifts you bought (or made) for others?
