In the absence of words, emotions exist.  In Jenna Hopkins’ world, emotions are almost miraculously expressed through colours, depth and lines to tell stories of beauty and life. This Fernhurst resident and owner of Colourful Pixie isn’t afraid to do things her own way, take on new challenges, create stunning custom paintings and share her love of art with everyone around her. Her work, self-described as “contemporary abstract, colourful and bright,” is made with acrylic paints, fluid acrylic mediums and gold/silver leaf. Hopkins was raised in a small village in Derbyshire. She has lived and worked across Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex for the past 11 years and has become one of her areas top artists. Her work is informed by colour and forms found in nature and influenced by the work of painters Paulette Insall and Claude Monet.  In private and corporate collections worldwide, Jenna’s work has become increasingly sought after by collectors around the world.  She has been featured in local and regional publications, exhibited her work at exhibitions and local bars/cafes.  Jenna sells her one of a kind paintings directly to collectors through her Instagram, her website, and enjoys creating commissioned paintings for her collectors.  Jenna’s paintings will leave you feeling uplifted, inspired and moved.  Her colourful glow emits radiance and magic, throughout each of her unique pieces.
