Gothic Cathedralscope Kaleidoscope

Blue/violet mix glass, 23cm long, Large glass cone with around 60 individual glass facets (millefiori, dichroic glass, jewels etc) rotates on a vertical axle and creates large, richly coloured images resembling a medieval Rose Window.

This is #31 of an edition limited to 99 of this design, which is our personal favourite of the 100 or so designs we have created.

Frank Higgins is the UK’s only designer and creator of “serious” Kaleidoscopes, bringing over twenty years’ experience in glassworking to the development of this unique activity. I aim to create high quality instruments, which will produce spectacular images while at the same time being pleasing externally. They are designed to last a lifetime. Shipping Policy

Deliveries from stock will normally be shipped within 3 days of my acknowledgement of your order.  For non-stock items, or commissioned designs, the lead time to complete will normally be from 1-3 weeks.  I will confirm this more precisely at the time of order Shipping within UK, via Royal Mail or Parcelforce, is included in the product price.     For shipment outside UK, I charge at cost, using whichever carrier is the most favourable at the time.  

Refund Policy

I do not offer refunds, but see below  

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

I aim to ensure that you are entirely happy with your kaleidoscope. Changed your mind about design? contact me within one week of delivery, I will accept returns of an undamaged standard kaleidoscope in the original packaging or comparable protective packaging, for exchange with something from my range of equal or greater value. You bear the cost of return postage. This excludes custom-made kaleidoscopes. Damaged/defective kaleidoscope.  Contact me,  with pictures if possible, within one week of delivery, to discuss.  I will repair or replace at no cost. These are handmade items, not mass produced and minor irregularities may be inherent in the process.  Photographing and displaying glass online is notoriously difficult.  The colours shown are close to but not necessarily exactly what you see at first hand. In the unlikely event that I am unable to fulfill your order for a standard product, and no alternative product will suit, then I will refund in full.
