Original acrylic mixed media painting with gold and silver leaf by Jenna Hopkins.
“Dancing in the Streets,” 2020
23.5" x 15.5" x 1"
This original abstract painting was inspired simply by our emotions and feelings that we all can relate to - the longing for freedom, the rush we experience when we break the rules or experience danger, the warmth of a strangers kindness, the peace in serenity, the satisfaction of success, and the dismay of failure. We have all been at the mercy of these emotions at some point in our lives and this colourful painting is an expressionist art piece to express these feelings!
This piece has a wide variety of pinks and blues, and flashes of yellows and purples with moments of gold/silver leaf. This fine art painting is heavily layered and textured, built up by using many layers of acrylic paint, graphite, charcoal and oil pastels to showcase the dimensions. Finished with black abstract lines in thickly laid acrylic paint. This painting would be perfect hanging above a sofa or to add character to any substantial wall space.
Painted on stretched canvas. Finished with a high-gloss UV protectant.
Signed, dated and titled on back, with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Comes wired and ready to hang.
