Original acrylic painting by Jenna Hopkins
“Rainbows of Hope #3”, 2020
This painting was inspired by the scripture in Genesis 9: 13-16 where it says, “Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth”. This translates perfectly to the Rainbows we are seeing to symbolise our hope of coming through the cloud of Covid-19 to brighter, more colourful times ahead. This piece has a wide variety of shades of grey, silver with moments of black and white splatter, gold and metallic golds, accented with flashes of metallic blue. The surface has a highly textured surface created from layers of paint and heavy body acrylic gel. Please scroll through all photos to see details of the texture.
Painted on stretched canvas. Finished with a high-gloss UV protectant.
Signed, dated and titled on back.
Comes ready to hang with hardware on back.
