Spalted Beech Trinket Bowl Set
2 Hand Turned Trinket Pots with Lids
These two lidded pots were hand turned from British Spalted Beech by Trevor in Somerset, South West England. These beautiful pots have an elegant design, with attention paid to each detail - from the delicate foot to the curved handle. Each pot is complementary in design but the hand-turning process means they are not replicates and the grain is completely unique on each. Finished with natural, non-toxic beeswax before delivery to ensure a professional finish which brings out the striking colours of the Spalted Beech grain.
The Spalted Beech has a very distinct grain, dappled with light yellows to dark browns in an eye-catching circular pattern unlike anything mass produced. All our items are produced from small batches of local timber; never from commercial or imported wood. Turned by hand on a lathe the pots are designed by eye during the process, each are unique products which will not be replicated. Our hand turned products are a real investment in quality homemade decor for your own home, perfect for storing precious jewellery and trinkets, or as a unique wedding or birthday gift.
