Ammonite Hoop Earrings
Natured Inspired Silver Jewellery. The perfect fine silver ammonite fossil hoop earrings for any occasion and everyday wear!
These simple fine silver earrings capture the beautiful spiral detail of these fossils and would make a perfect gift for someone who loves geology, jewellery with personality, and nature – or of course for yourself! The lucky recipient will love these beautiful natural mementos carefully handcrafted from fine silver from real fossils. These are a timeless piece that they – or you – will want to wear every day.
These beautiful ammonite earrings are entirely fabricated by hand using real fossils found on Charmouth beach in Dorset, England. The fossils were formed in the Jurassic approximately 185 million years ago. They have a tactile subtle shine finish which highlights the delicate whorls of the ammonite. They come on a sterling silver hoop and are made to fit an earlobe piercing, adding elegance to any outfit.
Each pair of earrings I make are handcrafted by using real fossils from which a mould is made, making each piece unique and that little bit more special. Ideal for someone who prefers jewellery with personality that shows off their individual style with elegance.
Each earring measures approximately 1cm by 0.6cm with an 18mm creole hoop. Please note that due to the handcrafted nature of these earrings using real natural elements there can be slight variations in each making them totally unique.
These earrings comes beautifully wrapped and gift boxed. They also come with care instructions so you can keep them looking as good as the day you receive them.
Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to discuss bespoke options. I would be more than happy to help!
Natured Inspired Silver Jewellery
Naomi Brookes Designs
I celebrate a love of nature through designing and crafting nature-inspired silver jewellery from my small workshop in Devon. Each piece uses a real leaf, flower, fossil, or shell as its starting point – making each piece unique and special. It’s underpinned by a sustainable design and making process that has as little impact on the environment as possible. I use Precious Metal Clay (PMC) to make the majority of my pieces as it uses recycled silver from photographic, computer hardware, and other industries to form the clay. Each piece tells a story about the natural world and the natural element that inspired it allowing you to find a connection between you, nature, and the memories it invokes. I also take commissions so we can work together on a nature-inspired piece of jewellery that holds a special meaning to you.
