Hello everyone, my name is Joanne Bennett and I am a jewellery designer and the owner of All That Glitters.

Based in Wiltshire in the UK; I create one of a kind, individually designed and unusual jewellery with a rustic, organic and raw feel.
I create my jewellery from sterling silver and very occasionally a little copper to add contrast.
I started making silver jewellery at night school back in 1991 and loved it so much I went to college in Wallasey for 2 years to learn more.
Achieving a BTEC national diploma.
My Inspiration.......
I love the textures that I find in nature, which is why I use them to inspire my designs.
Pebbles on a beach, gnarled bark on a tree and the textures found in weathered stone, I love them all.
I was always coming home from family holidays with buckets of shells and pebbles.
I still do today to be honest. I decorate my workshop with stones, plants and shells so that I'm surrounded by natural textures to give me inspiration and ideas.
I also love the nature of silver, especially when I'm melting pieces together and using reticulation to create wonderful organic textures.
You can never fully predict what the finished piece will look like, which is quite exciting and fun.
My statement designs form in a very fluid way, they evolve as they are made which makes creating them so interesting.
I use reticulation and oxidisation to give the silver a lovely rustic, almost raw texture and to make each piece different from the next.
All pieces are hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office where necessary and according to the regulations so you can be confident it's genuine silver.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like a custom piece of jewellery or if you have any questions or comments.
I love to get feedback as it's always nice to know that people like what I make for them.
As an independent jewellery designer it's important to me that each piece of jewellery I make is different and unusual.
I like to think that each customer receives a piece of jewellery that is individual and personal to them which is why each item of jewellery is made individually so that it has slight differences from the other jewellery I make, whether it's a silver ring or a pair of silver earrings.
Personally I like to wear jewellery that is handcrafted because I know that it has been made by hand with love and not mass produced in a factory.
When you buy from All That Glitters you are helping to support my business but you are also receiving a piece of handcrafted jewellery that is as individual and different as you are.
All of the work for sale in my Artisanryco shop is made here in Wiltshire in my little workshop.
Please do browse to your hearts content and don't forget to check out the other makers for some truly wonderful, handcrafted gifts for yourself or a loved one.

All That Glitters
Hello everyone, my name is Joanne Bennett and I’m a silver jewellery designer based in Wiltshire in the UK. I work with sterling silver using heat and texture to create unusual and one of a kind jewellery with interesting designs. I’ve always loved the textures and shapes that can be found in nature, which is why I use them to inspire my work. I was always coming home from family holidays with buckets full of pebbles and shells and my workshop is full of driftwood and fossils which I use to influence the jewellery that I make. I enjoy working with silver because of the way the silver melts and creates wonderful patterns which I can never quite predict. When I melt pieces of silver together it gives an organic, rustic, and raw feel to my jewellery. I love the free flowing nature of the process and the surprise of the finished piece, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t but the beauty of silver is you can just melt it down and start again. I try to make each piece different in some way so that customers know they have a piece of jewellery that is unique and individual. My aim is to create jewellery that is unusual which is why I use reticulation and oxidisation to give the silver texture and to make each piece different from the one before. All pieces are hallmarked where necessary so you can be confident it’s genuine silver. Please feel free to contact me if you would like a custom piece or if you have any questions or comments. I love to get feedback as it’s always nice to know that people like what I make.
