Recycled silver tourmaline ring
A beautiful olive green tourmaline stone nestles in a recycled silver ring band. Tourmaline is a semi-precious stone, believed by some to keep you grounded. A perfect ring, then, for these times! This is a one-of-a-kind piece, made in my workshop in Nottingham. The ring band is formed from recycled silver and has been textured using silver wire and heat.
The ring is size UK I.
Recycled silver represents a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of making jewellery. It is absolutely equivalent to sterling silver, apart from the silver content is not newly mined; it is recycled from previously used silver, or silver waste. The fineness of the sterling silver has been tested by the Edinburgh Assay Office who have hallmarked the ring to give you complete assurance of its quality.
Our packaging has been carefully selected to ensure minimal cost to the environment and we endeavour to ensure that wrapping is sustainably sourced, recycled, and, wherever possible, biodegradable.

Susannah Brookes Handmade Jewellery
I create unique, handcrafted contemporary designs from beautiful recycled silver which are made for giving, without excessive cost to the earth. We are a small, friendly, family business created out of a love of making and a commitment to finding ways to reduce our impact on the environment. Wherever possible I use sustainable materials. Most of the silver I work with is recycled from a range of industries, rather than freshly mined; my workshop is free from single-use plastic, and my pieces are gift-wrapped in soft bamboo wadding and hemp.
